Dream Act: Obama passes amnesty by executive order

Yes, I know you didn't hear about this on the nightly news or on a 24-hour wall-to-wall news cycle.  

Will any candidate opposing Barack Hussein Obama make this an issue in the 2012 election?

Last Friday, with no fanfare, no press coverage, and with every effort made to hide his actions from the American people, President Obama enacted the DREAM Act by executive order.

Opposed by a majority of the American people and twice defeated in Congress, the DREAM Act grants amnesty to any illegal alien  residing in the United States if s/he agrees to enlist in the U.S. military or enter college.

The Obama administration memo from the John Morton, Director of I.C.E. (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) directs I.C.E. agents now to use “prosecutorial discretion” with regard to enforcing immigration laws.

Director Morton says that Obama Administration policy directs border patrol agents not to enforce immigration laws: “When ICE favorably exercises prosecutorial discretion, it essentially decides not to assert the full scope of the enforcement authority available to the agency.”

So now the Illegals (who openly ignore US laws now as it is) will know that they are immune to consequences for doing so.  Call me a pessimist, but I say this is not good.

After months idling in neutral, a controversial Republican proposal that would require Ohio voters to present photo identification at the polls suddenly is alive and could take big steps toward becoming law today.

It not only stirred a predictable fight between Democrats and the GOP, but also pitted some Republicans against one another.

The bill is expected to get a vote in committee and by the full Senate today. If approved, it would change current law that allows voters to present a current utility bill, a bank statement, a paycheck or a government document with a current name and address as proof of ID.

Republican Secretary of State Jon Husted blasted the photo-ID-only law in a statement through his office.

So RINO Secretary of State Jon Husted joins Democrats in promoting voter fraud by not requiring an ID to be presented when voting.

Consider this a RINO alert in regard to Jon Husted, or you could also consider it an example of the lack of difference between Establishment Republicans and Democrats.
