Do you remember January 3, 2007? It should be recalled as a day of infamy.
The day the democrats took over was not January 22nd 2009, it was actually January 3rd 2007, the day the Democrats took over the House of Representatives and the Senate, the start of the 110th Congress. The Democratic Party controlled a majority in both chambers for the first time since the end of the 103rd Congress in 1995. For those who are listening to the liberals propagating the fallacy that everything is "Bush's Fault", think about this:

January 3rd, 2007 was the day that Nancy Pelosi became Speaker of the House of Representatives, 3rd in line of succession behind the President of The United States.

I voted Democrat because I believe oil companies’ profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn’t.
I voted Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.
I voted Democrat because Freedom of Speech is fine, as long as nobody is offended by it.
I voted Democrat because I’m way too irresponsible to own a gun, and I know that my local police are all I need to protect me from murderers and thieves.
I voted Democrat because I believe that people who can’t tell us if it will rain on Friday can tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don’t start driving a Prius.
I voted Democrat because I’m not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies through abortion so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.
I voted Democrat because I think illegal aliens have a right to free health care, education, and Social Security benefits.
I voted Democrat because I believe business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as they see fit.
I voted Democrat because I believe liberal judges need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would never get their agendas past the voters.
I voted Democrat because I believe we definitely need to have higher tax rates on the rich in this country, but believe its ok if people in office, including the Secretary of the Treasury, don’t pay their taxes as long as they raise everyone else’s taxes to compensate for it.
I voted Democrat because I do not want to compromise with conservatives on anything, but feel that we can better fix our problems with nations like Iran and North Korea by just sitting down and talking things out.
I voted Democrat because they’re the most compassionate people in society. Yet, in study after study, you find that conservatives give more of their money to charity than liberals.
I voted Democrat because I believe we’ve all got to dramatically reduce our carbon footprint to save the planet, but it’s ok if Al Gore and Nancy Pelosi live in big mansions and fly around in private jets to support the Go Green cause.
I voted Democrat because they stand up for women’s rights, but I believe it is ok to support sexual predators like Bill Clinton and hurl grotesque sexist insults at feminist role models like Sarah Palin if they don’t toe-the-liberal-line.
(Meanwhile, we of the TEA Party simply have one voting focus at the current time):
The government schools teach their version of US History with a heavy emphasis on how guilty the European White Men should be for stealing the land from the Native Americans, and leave their students ignorant of seminal events such as The Boston Tea Party. (By the way, Lefties, that Tea Party was about taxes and a government that refused to listen to its citizens nor give them a voice in governing themselves; hit the link for more details - if you want to learn some actual facts of US history).
Modern-day TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Party members have been wearing t-shirts and holding signs with the slogan "Party like its 1773" since at least July 2009 when I took these pictures, and I did a post which included this graphic in August 2009, so the "Party Like Its 1773" meme has been around for a while.
Are these folks on The Left really that ignorant? Does this explain why they seem to actually believe that somehow, even though Marxism and Socialism have been dismal failures that only served to centralize power to national government and bring despair to individuals wherever and whenever they have been used, that transforming the USA into a Marxist Nirvana will have us all drinking free Bubble-Up and eating Rainbow Stew?
I've got to admit, it gives me a new understanding of those on The Left and how they are tools, passive sheep that parrot what their Komrades are saying and what the Obamunists tell them to say without having to put any consideration into accountability for their words because they know that the Ministry of Propaganda that doubles as the Liberal Media will never call them to account nor expose them by shining the light of truth their way. The only problem they ran into this time was that recorded history hasn't yet been totally revised so their ignorance of the facts became clear in this case.
Is it really that important that the Leftist Tool Mouthpieces didn't know the year that The Boston Tea Party occurred? Maybe not in the grand scheme of things. However, it does expose the ignorance combined with vitriol and the added side of the Bully Pulpit of the Lapdog Media which in combination stands to undermine and destroy the Constitutional Republic of the United States of America.
Let's get moving before the good times are all over and gone for good.
