How About This For A "Pledge To America" : Reestablish The US Constitution And Follow It. Period.

A Better "Pledge": Congress Shall Make No Law

I've been thinking about the Pledge To America made by Republicans.  The only thing I can say is, how about just pledge to restore The Constitution and The Republic which The Constitution supports?  Maybe make a pledge based on the explanatory premises of The Constitution as taken from The Federalist papers?  Better yet, just simply pledge to restore The Constitutional Republic of The United States of America.

I don't want an alternative government health control plan, not from any level of government, but especially not from the federal government.  I don't want a US Representative like mine, who voted for a socialist program like "Cash for Clunkers" even though he is GOP (notice I didn't say Conservative), telling me that "a Republican alternative" is a better choice than ObamaCare. 

I don't want a Washington DC insider like John Boehner (R-Ohio) playing a reprise of Newt Gingrich leading an expansion of the federal government under the banner of the GOP with the premise that big government is okay if Republicans are the ones who design it. 

The RINO Republicans are going to try to take advantage of the dissatisfaction of We The People in order to take back political power.  They are interested in political power a lot and in representing We The People not so much.  

When Mike DeWine was a US Senator from Ohio, he was involved in a Compromise known as "The Gang of 14".   In the subsequent election, the voters of Ohio decided that we no longer needed a jellyfish for a US Senator and we sent him home.  Now, he is running for Ohio Attorney General, because he is an astute politician and knows that the public sentiment is such that even he has a shot at getting elected this year.  (Is the term "astute politician" an insult or a compliment?  You Decide.)

Want to get my support as a candidate?  Pledge that you will work to re-establish The US Constitution and the limited government that it sets a foundation for.  Period.

The Current President was supported in his election fundraising by Hamas (a known terrorist group) as they ran a phone bank from the Middle East which was used to solicit donations and support for his 2008 campaign.  Now he has apparently authorized the FBI to conduct a guided tour of the Top-Secret National Counterterrorism Center for a Muslim group which included Kifah Mustapha, who is a known Hamas operative.  For those who are not aware of Hamas, they are the organization whose charter includes the stated intent to "obliterate" Israel.

A known Hamas operative and unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorism financing trial in U.S. history – Kifah Mustapha – was recently escorted into the top-secret National Counterterrorism Center and other secure government facilities, including the FBI’s training center at Quantico, during a six-week “Citizen’s Academy” hosted by the FBI as part of its “outreach” to the Muslim Community. The group was accompanied by reporter Ben Bradley of WLS-Chicago (ABC), who filed a report on the trip to Washington D.C. on Sunday, who observed:

"Sheik Kifah Mustapha, who runs the Mosque Foundation in Bridgeview, asked some of the most pointed questions during the six week FBI Citizens’ Academy and trip to Washington. He pushed agents to fully explain everything from the bureau’s use of deadly force policy to racial and ethnic profiling."

Curiously, Bradley’s report on the Citizen’s Academy fails to make note of Mustapha’s extensive terrorist ties and support for Hamas, including his former employment with the Holy Land Foundation, which was listed as a specially designated terrorist group by the U.S. government in December 2001, and whose executives were convicted of terrorism support in 2008 and sentenced to lengthy prison terms. Mustapha was personally named unindicted co-conspirator (#31) in the case and employment records submitted by federal prosecutors during the trial showed that he received more than $154,000 for his work for the Holy Land Foundation between 1996 and 2000. During the trial, FBI Special Agent Lara Burns testified that Mustapha also sang in a band sponsored by the Holy Land Foundation that regularly featured songs dedicated to killing Jews and glorifying Hamas. In a deposition he gave in a civil trial concerned with the murder of a Chicago teenager killed by Hamas while waiting for a bus in Israel, Mustapha admitted that he was the registered agent for the Holy Land Foundation in Illinois, and also to his involvement with other Hamas front groups, including the Islamic Association for Palestine. He was later hired as an imam by the Mosque Foundation in Bridgeview, which the Chicago Tribune reported in 2004 has long been a hotbed of Hamas support.

If you haven't previously heard about this guided tour of the US Counterterrorism Center that was given to a terrorist, are you surprised?  The LameStream Media is clearly in bed with The Current President and it will either be unreported by the LSM and/or spun into something so far from the truth so as to be unrecognizable.  

Remember the Media Uproar when George W. Bush wanted to allow a company from the UAE to operate ports in the US? What about inviting the fox into the henhouse like the situation reported above? Hey LameStream Media, where is the proportional coverage of this national security travesty? 
 
Giving aid to the enemy is an impeachable offense.  Giving a tour of a Top-Secret Defense facility to an agent of a specially-designated terrorist group would seem to fall in that category.  If the Lamestream Media continues to operate as The Ministry of Propaganda, these egregious acts by our Current President will continue, under cover of darkness, to undermine the USA.

So A reasonable and pertinent question would be:

 

TOBY TOONS on Red State:  The current congress likes to leave out the pesky little fact that they’ve been in charge of the government’s purse strings since 2006.  Today’s Democrats like to point their fingers at George W. Bush for everything that is wrong in America, but as many people have pointed out, Democrats are the ones that gained control of congress four years ago - right before the economy started to tank.

The Propaganda Media do not point out what Toby Toons points out here, that the past four years since 2006 when Democrats took control of Congress in the 2006 midterm elections have been decidedly trending downward economically.

They don't point out that Rahm Emanuel (the current White House Chief of Staff) and Representative Barney Frank (D-Massachusetts) and Senator Chris Dodd (D-Connecticut) set up The Housing Bubble with a Cloward-Piven Strategy to force the availability of home loans to those who never should have gotten them, not because those who took the loans didn't deserve to own their own home but because they were not yet financially ready to take on the level of financial responsibility required. Well, they also loaned money to Illegal Aliens as well, so those loans are hard to trace and even harder to collect. The Propaganda Media doesn't talk about this except to point out that all the problems are "Bush's Fault"tm. 

RINOs have been in the mix prominently as well, and they have been what 20 years ago we would have called liberals.  They have been willing participants in Pork Barrel funding and the weakening of our nation on many fronts.  My own Senator, Cryin' George Voinovich (R-Ohio), is a convenient example to cite, although he is hardly alone.  Senator John "Maverick" McCain (R-Arizona)?  The one who was for Amnesty for Illegals before he was against it, and now he's for it again?  Please...

The TEA Party candidates who have won some primaries, and may win in some of the general elections, are a start of actual change.  Will it happen in time to keep the Current President and Congress from completing what appears for all the world to be a planned destruction of America?  We'll see.  Is it worth compromising to send Ruling Class RINOs to Washington DC in place of Ruling Class Democrats. NO!!!

One thing is for sure.  If The Ruling Class Democrats AND Ruling Class RINOs (Republican In Name Only, i.e. Non-Conservative Republicans) stay in power then we will not only remain on the steep downward slope of national collapse that we are on but the pace will quicken as The Ruling Class begins to operate with a real sense of urgency to remove all vestiges of Constitutional authority from We The People. 

Pick a side and stand on it. Stand for something.  Stand Firm.

The Battle of Yamama in December 632 AD was important because anywhere from seventy to over four hundred Muslims who had memorized different collections of the revelations of Muhammad (they were known as reciters) were killed and their knowledge of these particular chats with Allah lost forever. This battle was the end of the internecine Wars of Apostasy that broke out following the death of the Prophet. Apparently there were Arabic tribes that did not believe that Muhammad was Allah's only mouthpiece and who really did not want to continue paying bakeesh to his relatives. That was soon settled by the sword.

"Many (of the passages) of the Qur'an that were sent down were known by those who died on the day of Yamama ... but they were not known (by those who) survived them, nor were they written down, nor had Abu Bakr, Umar or Uthman (by that time) collected the Qur'an, nor were they found with even one (person) after them." (Ibn Abi Dawud, Kitab al-Masahif, p. 23).

Unlike Islam, the death and resurrection of Jesus brought about a powerful, unprecedented spiritual movement where the only weapon used was the Gospel. Christianity toppled the Roman Empire without an army and without killing a soul.

After the death of Muhammad (he died on June 8, 632), thousands of reciters were used to compile a collection called the Qur'an or Koran (meaning "he recites"). This was accomplished by the First Caliph, Abu Bakr, in 634 and eventually become known as the Hafsah codex. Hafsah was one of the eleven (?) thirteen (?) seventeen (?) wives of Muhammad; she helped to maintain and protect this manuscript until her death. By this time (656 or thereabouts) other Koranic texts were being used with different numbers of surahs. Uthman, the Third Caliph (644 to 656), ordered the burning of all texts not authorized by him (there were at least three), including the original Hafsah codex. Burning the Hafsah codex today would be comparable to barbecuing the Dead Sea Scrolls. Unthinkable.

Instead of burning the Koran it should be read.  By reading the Koran, one can understand why anyone who claims the Moon God, Allah, is an enemy of anyone who does not follow The Death Cult of Islam.  Also learn and understand the principles of deceit that a member of Islam is required to use when speaking to those who are not Muslim - then you can understand why it is impossible to ever trust what any Muslim says.  A great post by Sig at Nickie Goomba's "It Don't Make Sense".  Read the whole thing HERE.


I recently received an email from someone that I know.  This person points out a version of The Koran that is sort of "updated" as you'll see in his email, the text of which is below.  You can receive totally free versions of the Koran and there are several places online where the entire current text is archived as well, and normally I wouldn't recommend buying anything from CAIR but I make an exception this time.  The source of the email below has been credible and so I copy it here in the context of this post:

Instead of burning the Quran, non-Muslims should READ the Quran.  Here is an opportunity to get one of the most well-documented translations available -- Muhammad Asad's  "The Message of the Quran" -- for just the cost of postage -- $8.95.  CAIR is offering them free.  Go to www.cair.com and look for the green button that says, "Request a Quran."  (This book sells for $79 retail.)

 Not only is this edition profusely footnoted (with pure takiyya), but it also has the Arabic and the transliterated (Romanized) Arabic text.  

Using the index as a tool, one can see how Muhammad Asad mistranslated the original Arabic. For example, throughout the text, "fearing" (ittaqa) Allah is translated as "being conscious of" Allah. (See Surah 2:223, 19:97, etc.)  

Another example has to do with the controversial verse where Allah "prayed for" (yusallu) Muhammad. (Compare Surah 33:56 with Surah 4:102). (When Allah prays for someone, who doe HE pray to?) Muhammad Asad mistranslates that verb into "bless."

One of the most fascinating footnotes has to do with Surah 5:38, about cutting off the hand of a thief. Not only is it the longest footnote in the book, but it argues that such a punishment "is applicable only within the context of an already-existing, fully functioning social security scheme, and in no other circumstances."  Tell that to the mullahs in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, the Sudan, and Saudi Arabia!

As a non-Muslim, I can assure you that this free Quran, if carefully studied,  will expose more of the evils of Islam than any other book in print today.

I have not included the name of the person who sent the email in order to preserve confidentiality.  This person is someone who I made contact with due to an earlier post on this blog.  This person has studied the Koran and Islam. 

I operate under the principle "keep your friends close and your enemies closer".  I encourage you to know your enemies well.

Jeannine Marie Damiani-Jones

Jeannine was married to Shawn Jones for only two months when she was murdered.  She was on the front end of what appeared to be a long  and successful professional life, having graduated from Villanova University in Philadelphia in 1994.  She had a loving Mother and Father and one Brother, and a loving Aunt.

     

Jeannine was 28 years of age when she went to work on the morning of September 11th, 2001.  Her job at Cantor-Fitzgerald, located in World Trade Center #1, was that of an agency broker and partner.  The offices of Cantor-Fitzgerald were on floors 101 through 105, and Jeannine worked on the 104th floor.  The top floor of WTC #1 was the 107th floor, located 1,355 feet above ground level.

     

After United Flight 11 came crashing through the walls of the WTC #1 that on the morning of 09/11/2009, Jeannine and all of the 658 employees who came to work in Cantor-Fitzgerald's offices that day died.  They were between two and six floors above the impact zone of Flight 11; some may have died quickly, but most likely died slow agonizing deaths from the fire which ignited after the impact of the airplane.  Some may have even leapt to their deaths, falling as far as 1,300 feet to the ground below. 

     

After Jeannine's death, the Jeannine Damiani-Jones Memorial Foundation was established in her memory.

It is my honor to post this brief memorial of this beautiful young lady who was murdered at the hands of our enemies.  I hope that I have been respectful and honoring to her and her family.  I have done this as part of  Project 2996.

I was there in Washington DC on March 21, 2010 when Nancy Pelosi and Company did their thing.  I call it The Day The Constitution Died, so it appears that Mr. Trumka and I would see this differently. 

I guess the difference in point of view depends a lot on whether one sees Marxism as a good thing or not.

Patrick Caddell served in the Administration of President Jimmy Carter.  He did internal polling for The Carter Administration and was regarded as sort of a Devil's Advocate by the insiders there. He offers some candid thoughts in an interview published in National Review and conducted by Robert Costa.  I would suggest that you read the whole thing. 

“President Obama’s undoing may be his disingenuousness,” Caddell says. After campaigning for post-partisanship, Obama, he observes, has lurched without pause to the left. “You can’t get this far from what you promised,” Caddell says, “especially when people invest in hope — you must understand that obligation. The killer in American politics is disappointment. When you are elected on expectations, and you fail to meet them, your decline steepens.”

The polling data show how restless the country is. “A Rasmussen poll from earlier this year showed just 21 percent of voters believing that the federal government enjoys the consent of the governed — an astounding figure,” Caddell says. “Then a CNN poll showed that 56 percent of Americans worried that the federal government poses a direct threat to their freedom.”

On Monday, Gallup released a new weekly poll showing Republicans leading Democrats by an unprecedented ten-point margin, 51 to 41 percent, in congressional voting preferences — the largest gap in Gallup’s history of tracking the midterm generic ballot. “I have never seen numbers like this,” Caddell says, shaking his head. “Unless Republicans can find some way to screw it up, they will win big, even though nobody really likes them, either.”

That last sentence draws a great big "heh" from me.  

Mr. Caddell approaches his analysis from the point of view of a political pragmatist, and he reaches the bottom line with accuracy.  In my view, The Current president has a destructive agenda which has the overarching goal of reducing the USA to a weak and dependent country.  In either case, The Current President is not likely to be popular; not popular at all.
