 The Current Administration is so focused on destabilizing the USA that they did not even check legislative precedent.

Congress is always looking to get tough on something. It plays well on the campaign trail. Get tough on crime. Get tough on corporate ethics. Get tough on fanny packs and man purses. Just this year Congress got tough on Ford Motor Company by giving the administration millions of dollars to subsidize General Motors. [See which industries give the most to members of Congress.]

Back in 1996 (when fanny packs were still cool, in some circles) it was time to get tough on immigration, and an interesting little law was passed. Congress deemed it appropriate for state and local law enforcement to enforce immigration law

. In the inscrutable manners of Washington (where all legislation seems to be named with insufferably cute acronyms or indecipherable legislative codes that read like security passwords), this law came to be known as 287g.

Want to know what 287g says? Well, just read the law in Arizona. Yes, that law. The one causing protests in the streets of Phoenix, hysteria on cable talk shows and confusion in the courts. The one that empowers state and local law enforcement to enforce immigration law.

Florida, Virginia, Oklahoma, Ohio, New Hampshire, California, and even Massachusetts are among the states in which local police are enforcing immigration law, under the legislative mandate of 287g.

The whole agenda of "Amnesty for Undocumented Workers" is multifaceted and one point that is politically pragmatic for a Failing Marxist President is that there is the need for the numbers of potential voters to be in-country (and legally eligible to vote) so they can cover up the planned election fraud with live bodies, even though the actual "new citizens" won't likely vote. (IMHO)

That The Current President was raised to hate the USA is not a secret.  I'm not revealing some great truth here.  This has been known for a long time by a lot of people, including those whose job it was to report such things to you during the 2008 primaries and general election.  However, they chose not to.  They were afraid, afraid to be called a racist and afraid that their vision of a liberal utopia would be destroyed and a cranky old white man would get elected.

Obama's past is littered with radicals and crazies who served as his mentors, advisors and pastors.  His mind has been polluted by terrible ideas since boyhood.  We shouldn't be surprised at what we see today.

His youth in Hawaii was spent in an almost father-son relationship with an avowed communist, Frank Marshall Davis.  Do you think Davis was teaching Obama about the greatness of America and the merits of dynamic capitalism?

For 22 years his pastor was Rev. Jeremiah Wright, a racist America-hater whose rantings caused the Obama campaign some minor embarrassment but little real trouble since the mainstream media refused to show the incendiary sermons that "damned" America.  Obama claimed to have sat under his preaching for all those years yet never heard anything like what was found on the excerpts that surfaced during the campaign.  Was Wright counseling the young Chicago politician in the inherent goodness of the American people and the exceptionalism that makes America a shining light in a dark world?

His neighbor and good friends were William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, unrepentant domestic terrorists who tried to kill cops and military personnel when protesting the Vietnam War.  Many suspect that Ayers was the actual author of Obama's first book and the puppetmaster behind the Obama's rise in politics.  What do you think Ayers and Dorhn love most about America and how they might have passed that love on to their community organizer neighbor Obama?

His wife Michelle proclaimed during the campaign that for the first time in her adult life she was proud of her country?  What kind of twisted view of America has she contributed to the president?

Obama is the classic academic liberal, long on book knowledge and theory but lacking in practical experience.  The books say how things should work in a liberal utopia, and the coffeehouse discussions explain how it will all work, but there is no practical evidence of truth based on actual experience.  It's all a pipe dream.

Obama has been raised to believe that America is not exceptional and a beacon of freedom and hope, but in fact is the source of most evil in the world today.  America is an arrogant superpower and until she can be brought down to the level of the rest of the world we'll never be able to solve global warming, bring peace throughout the nations, and live in a world where there are rainbows and unicorns for everyone.

To accomplish this America must be weakened.  Our economic system must be damaged beyond repair, our military neutered, and our people subjugated by the government to ensure that no one prospers and starts thinking for themselves.  Americans must be dependent on their government so America can take it's rightful place among failing socialist democracies.

Americans must be taxed at levels designed to punish achievement and reward sloth.  Those who achieve must be forced by regulation and threat to give their bounty away to those who have done nothing to earn it other than breathe and vote for Democrats.  A minority of Americans must pay the bills for the majority.  With 47% of households not paying ANY income tax, we're getting very close to that liberal ideal.

Obama's life-long hatred of America, developed and nurtured over the years by the radicals and crazies he was drawn to, is now being played out in real life.  It's no longer an academic exercise, but a real and growing tragedy for this country.

And it was all very predictable.  Maybe if he hadn't been a "clean and articulate" liberal black man who could give a good speech the media might have done its job and vetted him with the intensity they applied to Sarah Palin.  Maybe they would have discovered his past full of lefties, loons and really dangerous people and would have reported it with the same earnestness they reported Palin's daughter's pregnancy.

Yeah, and maybe this is the week I'll get my rainbows and unicorns.

And since I wrote that we learned about Journolist, an email list in which liberal "journalists" conspired to do Obama's bidding and promote his agenda, and of course we have today's court decision in which it's no longer illegal to be an illegal alien.  What's right is now called wrong.  What's good is now called bad.

I don't know about you, but I don't want to live in an America of the type Obama envisions. 

Amen, Rick.  Amen. 

Rashid Khalidi, Terrorist Friend of The Current President, Calls for Funding for Next Jihad War Convoy Flotilla Ship, Ironically Named "Audacity of Hope"

Rashid Khalidi, the Edward Said Professor of Arab Studies at Columbia University, reportedly has signed an appeal for funds to outfit a ship–to be named The Audacity of Hope–that will challenge the Israeli blockade of Gaza in September or October. Khalidi and his wife (who also signed the appeal) became friends and occasional dinner companions of Barack Obama when Khalidi was on the faculty of the University of Chicago.

Obama and Rashid Khalidi go way back. Obama babysat Khalidi's kids, Khalidi did a fund-raiser for Obama in 2001, and Obama sat on the board of the Woods Foundation with terrorist Bill Ayers and gave Khalidi $40,000 and $30,000 grants respectively.

Right now you're maybe thinking "wait a minute, the headline said that Rashid Khalidi is a terrorist", and all that has been said so far is that he is a professor at Columbia University and that The Current President baby-sat Mr. Khalidi's children and was the beneficiary of a political fundraiser from Mr. Khalidi.  So how exactly does that make Rashid Khalidi a terrorist?  Well, those things do not make him a terrorist.  There are some other things that he has done which would tend to classify Rashid Khalidi as a terrorist. Read Rashid Khalidi's profile at Discover The Networks and see if you agree that he deserves the ignoble title of terrorist, or since there is no evidence that he has blown up any buses himself, at the very least an important and unashamed terrorist sympathizer and material supporter of terrorism.  There is plenty of evidence that Rashid Khalidi is a personal friend and supporter of The Current President of The United States of America. 


So the ship will be named The Audacity of Hope?  I'm sure that is only a coincidence.

US Department Of Defense Cannot Account For $8.7 BILLION DOLLARS Of Taxpayer Money

Federal News Radio 1500 AM: SIGIR: Defense can't account for $8.7 billion

The Defense Department is unable to account for $8.7 billion of the $9.1 billion in Development Fund for Iraq monies in received for reconstruction in Iraq. This according to a study published today by the Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction. 

"The breakdown in controls left the funds vulnerable to inappropriate uses and undetected loss," SIGIR says. 
  
The missing 8.7 BILLION dollars of OUR MONEY is somewhere. If the media was not in the business of protecting the graft and thuggery in Washington DC (i.e. if there was a Conservative POTUS that they wanted to expose) then we would be hearing about this nonstop.  Have you heard of this at all? Yeah, I didn't think so.

No racial requirement to be a member of the Congressional TEA Party Caucus, unlike the Congressional Black Caucus  or the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.  Of course the Propaganda Media and The Left says that it is the TEA Party that is racist.  If you think for yourself, the inconsistency is evident in this; if you think the way the Propaganda Media and The Left tell you to think, you won't get my point.

Republicans have been wrangling for more than a year over how exactly to handle the tea party movement, but now Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) is bringing them under the big tent. 

The House Administration committee, which usually takes days to approve something of this nature, approved Bachmann's request to create a House Tea Party Caucus in a day. It will certainly give the national movement a more official voice within the House Republican Conference. 

Bachmann, already a hero within the tea party, sent a letter to House Administration Chairman Robert Brady (D-Pa.) Thursday to register the House Tea Party Caucus to serve as an “informal group of members dedicated to promote Americans’ call for fiscal responsibility, adherence to the Constitution and limited government.”

When Ronald Reagan was inaugurated president in January 1981, he inherited an economic basket case from Jimmy Carter. He didn't endlessly whine about how what he had on his hands was not his fault, and he didn't enact policies and programs designed to drive the economy into a deeper hole.

No, he accepted the responsibility that he had asked for in getting elected, worked as hard as he could to not only get us out of the hole Carter had dug us into, but to make us more prosperous than ever. He succeeded, launching one of the greatest economic booms in US history.

(In the first Carter-Reagan presidential debate, Carter asked Reagan, "Why do you want my job?" Reagan quickly responded, "I don't want your job. I want to be president.")

I was in the banking industry at the time with the prime rate and other lending rates at all time highs. Inflation was running rampant and Jimmuh had no idea what to do. Rather than spend his first 18 months blaming Carter, Reagan went to work, passed his agenda, and turned things around. That's what real presidents do. 

I still maintain that The Current President is purposefully doing as much to destabilize our country as possible.  Really, even if he is doing what he is doing by accident or through incompetence, he is still destabilizing the USA in every area that he touches.  Oh, and he is blaming all of the problems on Bush.  Still. Eighteen months after assuming the Office of President of The United States.  Sheesh.

The federal courts are being populated with "Living Constitution" advocates, what used to be termed quite correctly as "loose constructionists".  These folks will function as unelected legislators, with the legal terminus being the Supreme Court of The United States.  Yeah, there will still be elections and the illusion of self-government, but the real lawmaking will be done from the bench.  Lifetime appointments, anyone?

Wanted: Someone To Represent We The People

If the GOP had any principles and the will to stand for those principles, repeal of ObamaCare would happen as soon as there was a legislative majority.  If the Current president wants to veto the repeal then that veto is ammunition for the next election battle.  

As it stands, I expect the GOP to show their cowardice by avoiding this confrontation.  I also expect that they will snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, and that they will not even be able to figure out why they lost the elections that they should have won.  

The Democrats are dedicated Marxists, and the GOP are dedicated wimps; the result is that We The People lose, because their is NO choice which represents US anymore.

Sarahi Uribe, a representative of the National Day Laborer Organizing Network, which helped organize Saturday’s event, said her California-based group participated to send a message to Washington, D.C. “We have a very clear demand that President Obama stop Senate Bill 1070,” she said.

Obama Tasks NASA With Building Muslim Self-Esteem. Space Exploration? Not Even On The List Of Things To Do!

In the video above, Charles Bolden, head of NASA, tells Al Jazeera that the "foremost" task President Obama has given him is "to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with predominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science, math, and engineering." Thus, NASA's primary mission is no longer to enhance American science and engineering or to explore space, but to boost the self-esteem of "predominantly Muslim nations."

Exploring space didn't even make the top three things Obama wants Bolden to accomplish. The other two are "re-inspire children to want to get into science and math" and "expand our international relationships,"

This is more evidence, if any were needed, of Obama's lack of interest in American achievement or, indeed, American greatness. He seems to believe we've achieved enough (or perhaps too much) and that the trick now is to make nations that have achieved little for centuries feel like we couldn't have done it without them (in the video, Bolden goes on to talk about how much NASA owes the Russians and the Japanese).

Of course this all makes sense, since America is a Muslim nation, according to The Current President.

Did you know that there are Muslim prayers every Friday in a room inside the US Capitol?  In case you are wondering, the US Capitol is not open to the public except through the Capitol Visitor Center, but those who worship The Moon god, Allah have a room where they can pray inside the US Capitol, apparently in a room under the Capitol Rotunda.

At one time, The US Capitol was the largest Christian Church in Washington, DC. Now, of course, Christian worship is not permitted there on a regular basis. As a matter of fact, other than a prayer service conducted on March 21st, 2010, there has been no regular Christian Worship in the US Capitol Rotunda in the last 130 years.

No problem if you're a Muslim, though.

Ron Paul and Michael Steele Agree On Afghanistan, Highlight GOP Lack Of Direction

July 4 (Bloomberg) -- Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele, whose remarks suggesting the U.S. will lose the war in Afghanistan have prompted some Republicans to demand his resignation, won praise from Representative Ron Paul.

“Michael Steele should not resign,” Paul, a Texas Republican and former Libertarian Party presidential candidate, said yesterday in a statement. “Michael Steele has it right and Republicans should stick by him.”

Speaking at a Republican fundraising event in Connecticut on July 1, Steele said the conflict in Afghanistan “was a war of Obama’s choosing” and “is not something that the United States has actively prosecuted or wanted to engage in.” Since then, several prominent conservative leaders have called for his resignation.

Here is a video of Mr. Steele's original comments, along with a transcript: 

“The [General] McChrystal incident, to me, was very comical. I think it’s a reflection of the frustration that a lot of our military leaders has with this Administration and their prosecution of the war in Afghanistan. Keep in mind again, federal candidates, this was a war of Obama’s choosing. This was not something that the United States had actively prosecuted or wanted to engage in. It was one of those areas of the total board of foreign policy [that was at least?] that we would be in the background sort of shaping the changes that were necessary in Afghanistan as opposed to directly engaging troops. But it was the President who was trying to be cute by half by building a script demonizing Iraq, while saying the battle really should in Afghanistan. Well, if he is such a student of history, has he not understood that you know that’s the one thing you don’t do, is engage in a land war in Afghanistan? Alright, because everyone who has tried over a thousand years of history has failed, and there are reasons for that. There are other ways to engage in Afghanistan…”

Mr. Steele is the prototypical RINO; I'm not sure how to classify Congressman Paul.  In any case, I have an idea.  How about just giving the Republican Party to folks like Ron Paul and Michael Steele and let them crash and burn on their own?  Then maybe there would be the possibility of an actual Conservative Party instead of the confusion and nebulousness of the current GOP.

Fundamental Change Continues And Will Continue For Fifteen Or Twenty More Years, No Matter Who Gets Elected

 Look folks, this guy who is The Current President is not incompetent or stupid.  He knows exactly what he is doing.  He has coerced and/or purchased the complicity of anyone who he needs to get done what he needs to get done.  The "Financial Reform" legislation?  You will see the effects for at least the next 15-20 years in the form of more expensive loans and less available financing and mostly more control of your life by the US Government, in the area of private property rights and the Progressive Removal of private property rights, especially from individuals.

The results of elections will be made less and less relevant as more and more Judicial Control is exerted by judges appointed for their adherence to a Clay Constitution that can be formed in any way desired as needed.  Pass a law that may alter the Progressive Marxist Agenda?  We'll throw it out in the courts.  Period.  End of story. 

What will the Republicans do should they win any elections? Nothing!  Even now they are afraid to consider repeal legislation for ObamaCare.  They cite the "defunding" option as being the viable response.  The GOP is weak and completely lacking in principle.  Meanwhile, The Democrats are infused with Marxism and Marxist principles, and are unconcerned about any consequences of carrying out their agenda.  They know that the media are functioning as an effective barrier to the reality of their agenda, and that Americans are too fat, lazy, and cowardly to want to know the consequences of Marxism.


Americans are even too lazy to VOTE.  Americans refuse, in large numbers, to participate in self-government.  Unless this changes THIS YEAR, in 2010, self-government will be lost here in the USA.  Does it have no chance to be established in some other country in the future or re-established here in the USA?  I would never say never.  Can it be reestablished without pain, sacrifice, and bloodshed?  Let's put it this way...that WOULD be a miracle!
