A top story on March 30 is that Arizona rancher Robert Krentz was apparently gunned down by an illegal immigrant. Krentz’s family has maintained a ranch in southern Arizona since 1907, and he was known as a compassionate man who gave water and medical care to illegal immigrants crossing his land from Mexico.

Krentz was found shot to death, slumped over his vehicle on his ranch. Police dogs tracked the shooter to the Mexican border 15 miles away, indicating that the shooter was almost certainly someone in this country illegally from Mexico.

The murder of this good man casts in stark relief the outrageous failure of President Barack Obama and Secretary Janet “the system worked” Napolitano to deal with the enormous problem America faces as a result of illegal immigrants. Perhaps if they weren’t so busy taking over the economy (which the Constitution forbids them from doing), they’d actually secure the border (which the Constitution requires them to do).

This outrage occurred just as the Obama administration plans on pivoting to the immigration issue, at the perfect time to try to create a wedge issue to scare Hispanics into voting Democrat in 2010 in order to mitigate the massive losses in Congress that Democrats are sure to suffer after more than a year of ramming through a far-left agenda with extreme partisanship.

Ronald Reagan once said, “A nation that cannot control its own borders is not a nation.” The Constitution tasks the federal government with controlling our borders, to maintain an effective immigration policy and to protect the property, rights, and lives of American citizens.

The ObamaCare Writedowns II: Can We Make Political Hay Out Of A Congressional Hearing?

How long will it be before the pattern of policies and actions which appear designed to tear down America, to reduce it to instability and economic torpor, are recognized as such by someone other than We The People?   

If The United States Government has decided to Unconstitutionally operate under a "living and breathing" US Constitution, should they not at least inform everyone that the 1st Ammendment has breathed its last so we can properly memorialize so it can Rest In Peace?

So the wave of corporate writedowns—led by AT&T's $1 billion—isn't caused by ObamaCare after all. The White House claims CEOs are reducing the value of their companies and returns for shareholders merely out of political pique.

A White House staffer told the American Spectator that "These are Republican CEOs who are trying to embarrass the President and Democrats in general. Where do you hear about this stuff? The Wall Street Journal editorial page and conservative Web sites. No one else picked up on this but you guys. It's BS." (We called the White House for elaboration but got no response.)

In other words, CEOs who must abide by U.S. accounting laws under pain of SEC sanction, and who warned about such writedowns for months, are merely trying to ruin President Obama's moment of glory. Sure.

Meanwhile, Democrats have responded to these writedowns not by rethinking their policy blunder but by hauling the CEOs before Congress on April 21 for an intimidation session. The letter demanding their attendance from House barons Henry Waxman and Bart Stupak declared that "The new law is designed to expand coverage and bring down costs, so your assertions are a matter of concern."

Perhaps Mr. Waxman should move his hearing to the Syracuse Carrier Dome. The Towers Watson consulting firm estimates that the total writeoffs will be as much as $14 billion, and the 3,500 businesses that offer retiree drug benefits are by law required to report and expense their losses this quarter or next. But 'twas a famous victory, ObamaCare. 

Do you own a small business?  Michelle Malkin is calling for those of you who have enough liquidity left to rally in support of whatever self-determination may be left by standing against this Capitol Hill Witch Hunt.

It seems to me that the chronic latent sense of narcissism on Capitol Hill has finally combined with an orgy of intoxication of power to present the United States with a potentially lethal cocktail.  Any pretense of representation and service, those apparently quaint concepts outlined in the Constitution before it went into its latest Leftist Hypervenitilation, has been thrown aside in what looks like a totalitarian-inspired urination contest on the part of our Legislators Formerly Known As Public Servants.

When I was in Washington DC on the weekend of March 20-21 there was a large Rally by LaRaza that got a lot of media attention.  At one point a press helicopter kept circling over their crowd which was near the Reflecting Poll at the Northwest corner of the Capitol Grounds, although it never went around to the South side of the Capitol where the TEA Party folks were massed.  I didn't get any video or pictures of the Latino contingent, but I know that the MSM did so you didn't need a Citizen Journalist for coverage of the LaRaza part of the weekend.  I stuck to the TEA Party because the press was either ignoring or downplaying that.  However, the Latinos were well funded with professionally printed vinyl signs and screen-printed color tee shirts emblazoned with their messages.  Someone spent a lot of money on them. 

I have said in the past that I think that part of the reason that the Democrats are moving with such seeming impunity to scuttle The US Constitution (the document, not the ship) is that they have a plan in place to avoid paying the piper, as it were, for their hijinks.  One such theory involves well-timed amnesty in exchange for a bloc vote for the Democrats.  Here's part of Alicia Colon's take on that topic:  

If there was some way to check the eligibility of every voter showing up at the polls on Election Day, would the Democrats be in power today? Every attempt to legislate safeguards against voter fraud has been stymied by them with charges of racism being hurled.

On the same day that the House of Representatives was voting for the evil health care reform bill, there was a rally calling for immigration reform and the call for amnesty was heard over and over.

When I was at the New York Sun I would receive many emails and letters from conservative Hispanics who were as closeted in their government offices as those in the entertainment industry. I was pleased to discover that there is one vocal group trying to dispel the political stereotype foisted upon us as Democrat Party peons. You Don’t Speak for Me is a group that speaks for more Hispanics than the ones at that rally.

The new group You Don’t Speak for Me! formed when Col. Al Rodriguez became fed up watching media coverage of the mass protests of April. “Their leaders were saying it was a march for immigrant rights and a Latino/Hispanic movement,” says Rodriguez. “I thought to myself, ‘Hey, those are illegal aliens, not immigrants!’” Col. Rodriguez began speaking out to others saying, “I’m of Hispanic ancestry and those people are acting like they speak for me. Well, you don’t speak for me!”

If you value the security of our borders and our safety, get involved and support the groups fighting for those same rights. It’s vitally important that we fight voter fraud that will allow illegal immigrants to reelect the corrupt powers in office today.

Amnesty for Illegal Immigrants along with tax money that has been shunted aside to phantom House of Representatives Districts  would make for a nice setup to tip elections in favor of Democrats.  The Latinos would be provided with a way to vote as a bloc, a stipend for their trouble, and with cover from the census.  Speaking of the census, do you really think that any of the Illegals will actually fill out a census form? 

Maybe last year at this time when I suggested some of the things that have since come to pass you might have scoffed.  I hope I'm wrong, but would you be shocked if it went down like that?

“Too often, much of late, the last couple three years, the mal-distribution of income in American is gone up way too much, the wealthy are getting way, way too wealthy and the middle income class is left behind,” he said. “Wages have not kept up with increased income of the highest income in America. This legislation will have the effect of addressing that mal-distribution of income in America.”

...all doubts that the Democrats’ takeover of health care was little more than a power grab in the name of “social justice” have been confirmed.  And it should be all the more reason to push for a repeal of this fundamentally un-American takeover.

So about one week after the House of Representatives, well at least the Democrats in the House of Representatives, pass this Unconstitutional Transition to Socialism "HealthCare Reform", the admission that this is not about health care but is instead about "redistribution of wealth" which is a basic tenet of Karl Marx' philosophy.  

I wonder what the odds are that the US will actually have elections this fall?  

Let's put it this way: if there are legal elections this fall, they will be about the choice between the future reestablishment of a Constitutional Republic or Marxism.  

There is no middle ground here.  If these guys are willing to openly admit that this is about income redistribution then they know that there is another shoe to fall.  What is exactly in this "Health Care Reform"?  I think we will find out that it is a true Pandora's Box.  

Hang on, it looks like we're in for a bumpy ride.

There is only ONE race - the Human Race.  There are different physical characteristics of humans but we are all one race.  I'm willing to debate that point with anyone.

Lloyd Marcus has a most excellent essay on Big Journalism, one of the Breitbart "Big" sites. His premise and point  is well taken.

Let me put it this way:  If you wanted to get someone to agree with something without investigating what they were really agreeing with, what better way than to have them look away from the details that they disagree with and instead be distracted toward a principle (equal opportunity for all people) that they can agree with?  This is a simple distillation of why the "Obama Zombies" arose and walked the earth.

Like millions of my fellow Americans, I am outraged, devastated and extremely angry by the Democrats’ unbelievable arrogance and disdain for We The People. Despite our screaming “no” from the rooftops, they forced Obamacare down our throats. Please forgive me for using the following crude saying, but it is very appropriate to describe what has happened. “Don’t urinate on me and tell me it’s raining.” Democrats say their mission is to give all Americans health care. They’re lying. Signing Obamacare into law against both our will and the Constitution is tyranny and step one of their hideous goal of having as many Americans as possible dependent on government, thus controlling our lives and fulfilling Obama’s promise to fundamentally transform America.



I keep asking myself. How did our government move so far from the normal procedures of getting things done? Could a white president have so successfully pulled off shredding the Constitution to further his agenda? I think not.

In their quest to destroy America as we know it, progressives borrowed a brilliant scheme from Greek mythology. They offered America a modern-day Trojan Horse, a beautifully crafted golden shiny new black man as a presidential candidate. Democrat Joe Biden lauded Obama as the first clean and articulate African American candidate. Democrat Harry Reid said Obama only uses a black dialect when he wants.

White America relished the opportunity to vote for a black man naively believing they would never suffer the pain of being called racist again. Black Americans viewed casting their vote for Obama as the ultimate Affirmative Action for America’s sins of the past.

Recently, I have come to believe that perhaps I am wrong about Obama’s race not being an issue. In reality, Obama’s presidency has everything to do with racism, but not from the Tea Party movement. Progressives and Obama have exploited his race from the rookie senator’s virtually unchallenged presidential campaign to his unprecedented bullying of America into Obamacare. Obama’s race trumped all normal media scrutiny of him as a presidential candidate and most recently even the Constitution of the United States.  

No white president could get away with boldly and arrogantly thwarting the will of the American people and ignoring laws. President Clinton tried universal health care. Bush tried social security reform. The American people said “no” to both presidents’ proposals and it was the end of it. So how can Obama get away with giving the American people the finger? The answer. He is black.

 Read the whole post.  I did read it and I agree completely with Mr. Marcus.  There is melanin-preference here that is being exploited to institute an immoral tyranny upon the entire populace.  Some of them voted for the Current President because of, and only because of, the color of his skin.

We can't see his writings from his university days as student or faculty?  "No problem" many said, because he promised us the "most transparent administration in history".  I wonder what is in those papers from his formative years that no one wants us to see?  Do you suppose it is because the Current President was such an overt Patriot back in those days that releasing that information would alienate his Leftist base?  I don't think so either.

The voters who elected the Current President may have naively believed that the Checks and Balances of The Constitution would be enough to depend on, or even that the Will of We The People would be respected by a government that is instituted by that same Constitution as a servant of We The People, or they may have been dedicated Leftists working to topple the USA, whichever the case may be.   As of the time of this writing, the Constitutional safeguards are not holding true in any case.  

What will the future bring?  That is up to you and me.  The sooner get on our knees and ask God's forgiveness and help, and after that stand up and go all in, the better the chance that we have to use whatever remnant of The Law of The Land that is still functional in order to restore The Constitution.

I posted a comment under the original post at Breitbart's Big journalism.  Instead of a cell phone camera I had a video camera and a still camera with me when I visited Washington DC last weekend.  My video of the "Gavel March" and other events of the weekend is HERE.

There will be "guilty until proven innocent" charges going forward.  Count on it. It is standard operating procedure.  Saul Alinsky gets credit for this kind of stuff these days, but it is standard Lenin-Marx oppression.  Pick a cause to oppose and marginalize it in order to defeat it.  What gives this some heretofore unseen cachet is that We The People are the cause to be marginalized, and those doing the marginalizing are the very government whom the Constitution mandates to serve, along with their willing tools in the Ministry of Propaganda MainStream Media.

This is what it has come to.  In this “news” column from the AP on the Tea Party rally in Harry Reid’s hometown of Searchlight, Nev., yesterday, the AP puts the burden of proof on Andrew Breitbart to prove that no one yelled the N-word at the Congressional Black Caucus in Washington last Sunday:

“Conservative columnist Andrew Breitbart disputed accounts that tea party activists in Washington shouted racial epithets at black members of Congress amid the health care debate, although he didn’t provide any evidence.” – AP, 12/27/10

Let’s first put aside the absence of basic logic dwelling within the idea that one can prove that something did not get said.

Now, on to the assault on basic fairness: Is the AP now on record that the Tea Party activists who protest at these gatherings are ipso facto guilty of racism if someone accuses them of racism?  Is that all it takes?  Have there been any calls from the AP for members of the Congressional Black Caucus to prove that the protestors that day shouted the N-word?  Just yesterday, the AP referred to Ft. Hood terrorist Malik Nadal Hasan as a “suspect.”  Apparently, Hasan is afforded the right to be innocent until proven guilty, but tea party protestors are not.

In light of the AP’s latest assault on fairness, logic and journalistic norms.  And, with full confidence that the vast majority of tea party protesters do not fit the racist, redneck stereotype that members of the media and the Democratic Party would like Americans to think that they do –

Breitbart has now raised the stakes on his challenge to the CBC.

He is now offering a “ransom” of $100,000 to be donated to the United Negro College Fund for anyone who can provide evidence that racial epithets were, in fact used toward the CBC that day on the mall.

I would encourage other citizens to make it a point to never be without some sort of device whereby one can take either pictures or videos, and post this evidence for others to see. We are the only ones who will balance the Mainstream Media with boots on the ground.  We have seen the Iranian People set the ironic example here.  Going forward, we are all now Citizen Journalists.  We must be prepared at all times to record video, especially at planned events and also during our everyday coming and going. 

The Founders were blessed with Wisdom when they wrote The Constitution and The Bill of Rights.  The Freedom of The Press in the hands of We The People may be one of God's mercies on us as we stand for Liberty in what may be the last hope for such a treasure in the modern world.

Last Sunday, March 21, 2010, was the second day in a row that we had spent in our nation's Capitol.  We were in the Longworth House Office Building on that afternoon on the way to visit our Representative and thank him for his pending "no" vote on ObamaCare.  We shared a brief elevator ride with Representative McCotter, and actually missed our floor as we chatted with him.  He is quite polite and pleasant, and left us on the elevator with a quote that at the time he applied to the shifting situation in regard to the vote total for ObamaCare but which also applies universally: "Where there is life, there is hope".  Thanks Representative McCotter for the quote, and for this article.

Fidel Castro (remember him)?

The communist octogenarian/anachronism has come out of semi-comatose retirement to praise President Obama’s trillion dollar government takeover of Americans’ health care.  Herewith Cuba’s bath-robed butcher sings a few bars of praise for our President:

“We consider health reform to have been an important battle and a success of his (Obama’s) government,” Castro opined in a published screed.  Though, he couldn’t resist poking a newly socialist Uncle Sam:  “It is really incredible that 234 years after the Declaration of Independence …. the government of that country has approved medical attention for the majority of its citizens, something that Cuba was able to do half a century ago.”

So how to explain why Fidel lauds Obamacare for the unsustainable spending of trillions more on health redistribution in the U.S?

Cuba appreciates any act that will bankrupt America’s free-market economy; and international socialists lack a sense of the ironic.

Indeed there is no question that this bill, along with "The Stimulus", the large portion of the private sector economy that is either owned and/or controlled by the government, and the heedless use of taxpayer funds by The Obama Administration in what  amounts to perpetual campaign mode combined with the Shotgun Approach to Porkbarrel Spending (not to mention the Chinese purchase of T-Bills to leverage the whole scheme) does bring the concept of bankruptcy of the US economy into the realm of the concrete.

Will You Give Up Your Constitutional Liberty?

Will you willingly give up your Constitutional Liberty?  Of course not, you say.  You say this whether you are on The Left or on The Right in this country.

The fact is, The Current President, Barack Hussein Obama, wants you to willingly give up your Liberty.  He wants you to accept that the government must control our lives for the good of everyone.  If he can get you to accept that premise, then the removal of the Constitutional  guarantees of Liberty will happen as part of what the government "gives" us.  This will be done by deception up to the point where the government is strong enough to force the surrender of Liberty.

The latest attempt at mass deception, "Health Care Reform", is a long and twisted law that actually has a "blank check" within that allows The Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) to define certain provisions of the law and to also define beneficiary qualifications as well.  The HHS Secretary is appointed, not elected.  How far does this "blank check" extend?  That is up to the HHS Secretary to define.  When House Speaker Nancy Pelosi made her well-known statement that "we will have to pass the bill to find out what is in it", she was absolutely stating the truth.

 A few posts back I  quoted certain sections from The Declaration of Independence.  Although these were written with certain specific circumstances that applied in the time leading up to 1776, they could also apply to The Current President.  It is chilling to read them again and to see how they apply today as well as they did back in 1776.  How about this one:

...He has erected a Multitude of new Offices, and sent hither Swarms of Officers to harrass our People, and eat out their Substance....

Do you think that applies today?  I can see it, can you?

What about this one:

...For quartering large Bodies of Armed Troops among us:  For protecting them, by a Mock trial, from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States:...

Do you think that it could apply to the Sleeper Cells of Jihadists that we know are within our borders and are not being removed?  What about the "Mock Trial" that in NYC for known Jihadis?

How about this one:

...For imposing taxes on us without our Consent:...

 or this one?

...For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments:...

The italicized passages of blue text above are from The Declaration of Independence-READ THE WHOLE THING.   I think that they apply today, in 2010, as well.  Do you?


Along with all Liberty comes responsibility.  If we are to somehow keep our Constitutional Republic, or more accurately restore it, then we need to assume responsibility for shining the light on what amounts to a bloodless coup, a takeover of our country, and to resist it however possible.  The Left will use lies and deception in their fight.  We need to shine the light of Truth on this, and we need to start now.


If we do not do all that we can, The Left will re-write history to suit their own ends, and will attempt to justify that project through tacit approval obtained by deception.  To them, silence implies consent.  I'm not going to be silent.  Are you?

When I was in Washington DC last weekend I interacted with Americans who had different opinions about the direction our country is going in, and I even interacted with some folks who are not Americans who want still another direction for America.  

The TEA Party wants the USA to restore The Constitution as its basis.  Those on The Left feel that the federal government should take care of its people from cradle-to-grave and they don't care that The Constitution does not give the government that power.  Those who were there who are not Americans want the USA to give them all the benefits of citizenship without taking the commensurate responsibility. 

The TEA Party is portrayed as intolerant and violent by The Left, who portray themselves as tolerant.  I have posted video and pictures from last weekend and I have more that I will post, in an attempt to portray what things looked like on the ground in Washington DC last weekend.  

I can tell you that as I walked along the street in Washington DC with my wife and five of my children (ages 5 years to 12 years) I was accosted by one Leftist who, in front of my children, accused my wife and I of teaching our children lies; I told him that he did not have the responsibility for raising our children but that we did.  He did not respond, no apology, just walked away rudely.  On another occasion, I had someone from The Left interject into a conversation with another father whose son was riding a unicycle, telling us both that "I hope he has health care"; when I pointed out to The Leftist that my friend and his son chose to assume the risk of the son riding the unicycle and the consequences thereof without expecting others to share that risk, The Leftist shook his head and walked away.  On another occasion, a young Leftist (he looked to be 19-20 years of age) walked past our family, including my three daughters who are between the ages of 7 and 10, and stated, "abortion is not even in the fucking bill"; I asked him to not use that kind of language in front of my children, and instead of offering an apology, he walked on without responding at all. 

If you choose to stand on The Right, you can expect both abuse from The Left and to be marginalized as intolerant.  This is part of what they see as tolerant behavior on their part; some of The Left even think that this is noble on their part.  The "foot soldiers" of The Left either don't know that they are Useful Idiots or they just don't care.

Decide Where You Stand

Those who we call The Founders of our country pledged to one another their "lives, fortunes, and sacred honor".  In other words, they were stating publicly that everything they had and were and everything they ever hoped to be were placed on the altar willingly to be sacrificed for Liberty.  There was no guarantee that they would succeed and in fact the chances of losing everything that they had pledged to one another, including their very lives, was great.  They were facing the strongest armed force in the world and they had no money and what amounted to hunting rifles as weapons. The only thing that they had that was first rate was faith in Almighty God.  

Now that The Constitution has been officially rendered moot, and make no mistake, it has been rendered moot, we must ask ourselves whether we are willing to make the same pledge to one another that The Founders made.  It is that simple.

I will not assume that the elections of November 2010, if there are elections in November 2010, will be legally conducted.  It is illogical to believe that any government that is operating in defiance of the very Law that it is established on would conduct itself honorably in any way.  

Regardless of that, I will attempt to operate within this same Law that is ignored and twisted by the enemies of Liberty with the fervent hope that somehow The Truth will prevail and that ideas and principles of our Constitution will reflect and be somehow preserved in the face of an illegal and Godless government enough for the coming election to reflect the will of We The People.  In any case, may God have Mercy on us all.  

When in the Course of human Events, it becomes necessary for one People to dissolve the Political Bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the Powers of the Earth, the separate and equal Station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent Respect to the Opinions of Mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the Separation....

Citizens Lobby House Members On The Street

There was a small group of citizens who tried to speak to as many Representatives as possible on the street while they walked to and from The Capitol.  While the main "Gavel March" group never lowered themselves to walk on the same sidewalk as common citizens, some of the Representatives did come walking by on the sidewalk, giving an opportunity to speak with them directly:

Representative K. Michael (Mike) Conaway from Texas 11th District does an interview for a citizen outside the Longworth House Office Building.  I was a few feet away taking a photograph when the Congressman began the interview, so I didn't get to record it in total.  Representative Conaway indicated that the prayer service which had been held that morning in the Capital Rotunda was the first to have been held there in the last 130 years. 

Jean Schmidt (R-Ohio) Spends A Few Moments With We The People

On Saturday afternoon we were on our way to the Capitol South Metro Station when someone asked us what part of Ohio we were from.  That person introduced herself as Jean Schmidt from Ohio's 2nd Congressional District.  Although we are not residents of this district, she spent a few moments with us and even posed for a picture.  Now, on Sunday Afternoon as we lobbied the House Members on the street, she stopped by again briefly and said hello.

Democrats Will Try To Marginalize TEA Party In Any Way They Can - Day-By-Day Cartoon

Michael Steele apologizes for what is likely a bogus charge.  I was there in DC and John Lewis (D-Georgia) was never close enough to any TEA Party member to hear what they said, especially not those from Georgia.  This is just another way for The Left to marginalize their enemies instead of facing them.  The apology from RNC Chairman Steele simple encourages The Left to continue using the techniques of Saul Alinksy and Karl Marx, because statements like Steele's apology validate their methods and false charges.

Representative Michelle Bachmann (R-Minnesota) addressed the rally on Saturday the 20th of March.  She started out with a reference to the Declaration of Independence:


Representative Bachmann proceeds to outline that these rights are God-Given and cannot be taken away by the power of man:


Representative Bachmann concluded her comments by listing a summary of the extent of government-control or ownership in the private economy of the USA, which now that the "Health-Control" bill has passed, stands at nearly 50% of the entire US economy:

At this point my voice was getting raspy on the way to a full-blown case of laryngitis.  This was on Sunday, during the Prayer Service, and emotions were high.  These folks made a stand and I was inspired by them and wanted to encourage them.  The young many screaming with all the effort he could muster was as symbolic an image as I had seen.  It was an honor to briefly join them, and an honor to speak with them as well.  (The man with the New Hampshire Flag was an extremely interesting and well-versed historian.)

Democrat Representatives Move In Phalanx To Defeat The Constitution on 03-21-2010, Except For Barney Frank Who Travels Lightly And Behind The Main Group

I happened to be in position just across Constitution Avenue from The Cannon and Longworth House Office Buildings when the bulk of the Democrat Representatives began their assault on The Constitution by approaching the Capitol in a phalanx along with Capitol Police ("The Gavel March").  We were simply catching a breather before going to the office of our Representative to see about getting tickets for the House Gallery.

First, we saw several police officers hurry across the street to The Cannon Building, where police were already stationed outside the doors:


In a couple of minutes, a large group of police, photographers, and Representatives came past the location where we were relaxing on the wall next to the sidewalk:


Maybe you can identify your Democrat US Representative in this video. Speaker Of The House Of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi of California, passes by at about the 00:20 mark with John Lewis of Georgia on her right and John Larson of Connecticut on her immediate left; House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer of Maryland is to the right of Representative Lewis in the same row as Speaker Pelosi. If you look closely you can see the House Gavel in her hand.

Just after The Phalanx passed us, several large SUVs with the windows heavily tinted also passed along the middle of the street:


About five minutes after the last of the SUVs had spewed hydrocarbons into the Spring air of Washington DC, along came Representative Barney Frank (D-Massachusetts).  A gentleman from Florida shook his hand and politely asked him to vote "no" on HCR.  Nothing to lose by asking, right? (Note the NORML supporter in the background who is applauding Representative Frank. Barney wouldn't know what kind of leaf is on the sign, so he says)


The most interesting thing about this to me is that Representative Frank claimed that there were slurs on his character and lifestyle made on the previous day by TEA Party members, as well as threats that he alleged that he received from those same folks. If that was the case, why would he walk along the sidewalk virtually alone just 5 minutes after the main phalanx of Democrats came down the middle of the street under heavy security? And shake hands with a TEA Party member?  This makes as much sense as passing "HealthCare Reform" does, which is as fitting a way to end this post as I can come up with.

UPDATE: Jesse Jackson equates the "Gavel March" (Phalanx video above) to Martin Luther King in 1964! ...sheesh

March 21, 2010. ANOTHER Day Which Will Live In Infamy.

I'm going to use these photos in a more detailed report later which will be presented in several installments.  I also have a lot of video, including video of The TEA Party Leader, but I cannot upload these due to the Internet connection that I have at the hotel.  There are some of these that I will caption in today's post, but most of them I'll caption later.

One more thing; We are in a war, and a war is made of of many battles.  Victory rests with those who will not quit the fight.

Michael Conaway, CPA (Texas-11)  (I'll let you guess which Party he represents.) who stood up for a Citizen Interview in front of the Longworth House Office Building, and right above that is a wide shot of the same scene.  I'll have video to post of this as well as many, many other videos, including some exclusive footage of the phalanx of Democrats walking toward the Capitol to vote. 

I promise to get something posted when I get back home even though Monday will be a travel day, and I'll keep posting until I get my reporting of this event completed.

This is a war, and losing a battle is part of war sometimes.  My prayer is that God changes things, including me, as we fight on toward Victory.  God Bless the USA.
