Obamacare structure: The taxes start immediately. The coverage starts three years after that.

The reason that the Congressional Budget Office scored The Government Takeover Of Healthcare favorably is that the financial structure of it is unique.  The taxation (or premiums if you want to call it that) start as soon as it goes into effect.  The coverage (actual payment for medical care) starts three years after that.

Historic CHANGE in the USA: Article 1 Section 2 of the US Constitution.

Article. I.
Section. 2.


The House of Representatives shall be composed of Members chosen every second Year by the People of the several States, and the Electors in each State shall have the Qualifications requisite for Electors of the most numerous Branch of the State Legislature.

No Person shall be a Representative who shall not have attained to the Age of twenty five Years, and been seven Years a Citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State in which he shall be chosen.

Representatives and direct Taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers, which shall be determined by adding to the whole Number of free Persons, including those bound to Service for a Term of Years, and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all other Persons. The actual Enumeration shall be made within three Years after the first Meeting of the Congress of the United States, and within every subsequent Term of ten Years, in such Manner as they shall by Law direct. The Number of Representatives shall not exceed one for every thirty Thousand, but each State shall have at Least one Representative; and until such enumeration shall be made, the State of New Hampshire shall be entitled to chuse three, Massachusetts eight, Rhode-Island and Providence Plantations one, Connecticut five, New-York six, New Jersey four, Pennsylvania eight, Delaware one, Maryland six, Virginia ten, North Carolina five, South Carolina five, and Georgia three.

When vacancies happen in the Representation from any State, the Executive Authority thereof shall issue Writs of Election to fill such Vacancies.

The House of Representatives shall chuse their Speaker and other Officers; and shall have the sole Power of Impeachment.
(Note: Article I, section 2, of the Constitution was modified by section 2 of the 14th amendment.)

This section sets up some guidelines for The House of Representatives based on the population of the USA at inception.  When it was written, there was legalized slavery in the USA and only males had the right to vote.  This section also sets up the Census of the USA.  The word "chuse" (sic) is verbatim from the original language.  Subsequent ammendments have changed this section, including the voting age being changed to 18, both sexes being given the vote, and of course no one is counted as 3/5 of a person anymore.  The overall limit of the number of citizens per Representative is set by this section, and Congress has not obeyed the "representation ratio" in Article 1 since the Second Congress began ignoring it in April 1792. The last time Congress added new representation, that is, new seats in the House, was 1911-NEW STATES HAVE BEEN ADDED SINCE THEN! Today, with only 435 Representatives for 300 million citizens, Congress is now a system of under-representation of the taxpaying citizens.  Currently, the Census determines how the 435 Representative districts will be distributed throughout the various states but there are 435 total disricts no matter what, and of course none of them cross state lines.  This makes the census fairly significant, as well as adding clout to the political party which is in power at the time that districts are apportioned.  Think about this for a minute:  If there was a Representative for every 30,000 citizens, (or even every 50,000)...how much more able would that Rep be to reflect the views of their constituents?  Much, much more in my opinion.  More importantly, it would be MUCH more difficult for a "special interest" to lobby for or against something, AND MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE TO BUY VOTES.  I like The Constitution the way it was written.

I do believe that The Framers of The Constitution had the desire that the individual citizens be able to understand their rights and responsibilities under The Constitution and therefore my commentary rests on my personal understanding of how this marvelous document should work and how it is being abridged, ignored, and destroyed by our government

Section. 1.



All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.

The US Constitution is a brief and simple document.  This section indicates that legislative powers are to be the sole responsibility of the Congress, and these powers are to be defined within The Constitution.  No legislative powers are given to The Executive or Judicial branch.  Two houses of Congress, the Senate and House of Representatives, to be detailed in upcoming sections of Article 1 of the US Constitution.  In recent times, legislation has been written in The White House (Executive Branch).  The Constitution is at odds with this, but it happens anyway.  Additionally, de facto laws have been made by the Judicial Branch in the form of Supreme Court decisions; again, this is outside the bounds of The Constitution.

Cal Thomas likens The White House versus Fox to The Soviets jamming The Voice Of America.  The comments by Thomas are in the video linked here and it is about one minute in length. 

In The Marketplace of Ideas, open debate is encouraged and critical thinking is taught and practiced.  To the contrary, the opposite is actualized both in our government and in our universities.  Maybe that is why there is concern about Internet Neutrality; face it, The Net is the embodiment of   the free-speech marketplace of ideas in action and as such is anathema to any government bent on silencing those who may disagree with their position.

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.


The preamble sets an outline, if you will, of what The Framers planned to accomplish.  In my view, this states up front that the federal government planned to provide defense to the country, set up a court system, and unify the various states to a greater degree than they had been in order that there would be peace within the country.  The "general welfare" was to be promoted, not provided, by the federal government.  The "Blessings of Liberty" were to be a result of doing all of the aformentioned successfully and passing this down to the generations to follow.  This is designed to be indivudal liberty which is regulated by law for the "general welfare" of all.
Currently the Socialism-promoters say that "promote the general welfare" covers everything from spending a few trillion dollars of taxpayer money to "stimulate" the economy to giving free medical care to everyone to taking over large corporations and banks.  I submit instead that promoting the general welfare would be correctly applied as providing a government structure that gives individuals the best chance to reach these goals independently without the interference of the government, rather than having the government remove the "Blessings of Liberty" from the individual citizens in the form of control by the central government.

Congressman Pence uses the Bully Pulpit to remind our "Rulers" that their "subjects" have a voice. Meanwhile, The Left quietly demolishes The Constitution.



The point of The White House trying to exclude certain news networks from the flow of  propaganda coming from the Press Room is to "marginalize the target".  Alinsky says that you need to pick an individual target by name, and focus criticism and even hatred and invective toward the target.    George Orwell died before Alinksy published Rules For Radicals, but even so a prime example of this marginalization technique is the "Two Minutes Of Hate" in the Orwell Classic 1984.  This technique will work in several ways to demote the image and effectiveness of the adversary. 

More importantly in this case is taking the focus off of other areas.  If the conservative opposition can be distracted by issues that are symbolic while The Left institutes legislation to cement their agenda into law, then the marginalization technique is effective in more ways than one.

I submit that the attacks on Fox and Rush Limbaugh et al are simply to take the focus off of the huge continuous Power Grab that is The Government Takeover.

Historic CHANGE in the USA: PROLOGUE

I will be starting a series with this post in which in want to examine the historic nature of the changes that are coming to fruition here in the USA in 2009.  I will start out with some basic goals and I will adjust to reflect changes which happen as the series unfolds. I will also be interspersing other posts during this time as well, some of which will be directly related to this series. 

In this series I will examine the US Constitution and its meaning as written, and I will apply the context of current events which I see as providing a foundation for the deconstruction of the US Constitution over the coming 10-year period. 

As this series unfolds I will provide evidence of the collapse of the USA that is currently in process.  This process has been going on for many years now and has happened incrementally on the watch of both Democrat and Republican alike. 

It will be important to note that I am not a Constitutional scholar or legal expert.  I am simply a common citizen of the USA.  The US Constitution was written for me and the rest of my fellow citizens and was written in such a way so that common citizens could know and understand their rights and responsibilities as written in the Constitution.  This is how I will approach this series.

Yes, the SF Bay Area is fairly left wing.  There was a TEA Party there recently when President Obama visited The City.  Zombie documented it, as only Zombie can.

ACORN sting video is RESTRICTED ACCESS for some reason.

Here is the latest ACORN expose' video on YouTube, posted this morning (October 21, 2009).  The only problem is that SOMEONE has censored it so it indicates that the video is "Private" when you click on the "play" button. (It was publicly viewable after it was posted, at least for a while.)



This is a picture of what the Obama Administration has in store for anyone, anywhere who disagrees with them or hold the ideals of The Left up to the light for all to see.

The story will come out that YouTube has determined that this video somehow violates Terms Of Service, or maybe that a "hacker" has broken in and set the video access to "private", or some other nebulous explanation; whatever is necessary to silence the voice of opposition.

Possible Muslim-on-Muslim property-damage violence in Columbus, Ohio.

"The leaders of the mosque are embroiled in a legal dispute with the property manager, who also manages the building that burned.


Mohamed Hassan Adam, who holds the lease for both buildings, filed a civil lawsuit against the mosque's leaders last Tuesday in Franklin County Municipal Court, saying they have occupied the building since August without a valid sublease and haven't paid rent.


Ahmed Mursal and Ali Fiqi were served with an eviction notice Oct. 1, but they refused to vacate the building, according to the lawsuit. A court bailiff notified them Thursday that an eviction hearing is scheduled for Nov. 3, court records show.


Adam's attorney, Raed Khasawneh, said his client isn't trying to get rid of the mosque, just evict the current leaders. Mursal and Fiqi "are trying to control the mosque and exclude some people, dividing the community rather than making it an open place of worship," he said."




These are Somali Muslims.  Columbus, Ohio has one of the largest communities of Somali expatriates in the USA.

These folks tend to ignore local laws of the "infidels" in favor of Sharia.  For instance, the article states that none of these businesses were insured, which would be unthinkable for you or me should we want to operate a public business. 

If you or I wanted to operate a business with public access, we would be required to have both property insurance and liability insurance at least.

The larger issue here is that we are now seeing large-scale property damage violence that is apparently from one group of muslims toward another here in the USA.  The recent history of Somalia is littered with this type of thing, including many violent deaths and warlords who rule by force.  Adherents of Islam throughout the world tend to have differences between sects of Islam that result in all types of violence and damage, including death. 

The Columbus Dispatch article indicates that this is definitely a case of arson and that it is being investigated by several agencies, including ATF (due to the interstate commerce that was part of at least one of the damaged businesses).

USA will become another Banana Republic after Government Takeover



I've been saying, much to the dismay of people across my spectrum of friends and acquaintances, that the Obama adminstration plans to deconstruct the USA, starting with the Constitution. 

I see them on the path recommended by Professors Cloward and Piven domestically, with the addition of a White-Flag foreign policy. 

The Constitution puts the power into the hands of the citizens and states that those who govern do so with the just consent of those who are governed.  This consent does not end after the election but continues on a daily basis.  What the Obama adminstration wants, instead of what the Constitution outlines, is a Government Takeover in every area, not just The Government Takeover Of Healthcare. The Constitution states that the government is to be a servant of the citizens, which is the opposite of how it has operated for many years now; it just has not reached Government Takeover status openly until this administration. 

There is evidence that FDR's policies extended The Great Depression by several years, and Obama has instituted similar policies.  A study done by UCLA in 2004 in regard to FDR and The Great Depression has an interesting statement included:  "Why the Great Depression lasted so long has always been a great mystery, and because we never really knew the reason, we have always worried whether we would have another 10- to 15-year economic slump," said Ohanian, vice chair of UCLA's Department of Economics. "We found that a relapse isn't likely unless lawmakers gum up a recovery with ill-conceived stimulus policies." (Remember, this study was completed in 2004.)

I don't wonder that the current adminstration is aware of the effects of The New Deal.  As Leftist idealogues they are fully aware of them.

I believe that the overarching goal of the Obama Administration is to deconstruct the Constitution and the USA itself.  Even if you disagree with that, I want to ask you to consider this question:  Where do you think that the path that we are on is headed?

As for me, I agree with the Senator above.  If we do not change course, we are headed for Banana Republic status.

It takes a willing media to be manipulated.  From the Communications Czar Director's explanation it seems that Obama's campaign was in control of what the media did (and still does control it).  I don't know about you, but I'm not going give them credit for that.  The Old Media was bought and paid for ideologically during their individual university indoctrination. 

Were The Old Media also bought and paid for literally, with cash and/or other lucre, during the campaign and subsequently during the massive push for The Government Takeover?  I don't have evidence for that, other than the circumstantial evidence that the Old Media is clearly in the tank for Obama. 

In light of the comments on the video above, it is clear why the government's take is that " Fox News is not news".

All of our enemies are emboldened by perceived weakness of the Obama Administration.  This is not shocking at all.  No, they are not open to negotiations in good faith, despite what the POTUS may say publicly, and unless he is a moron (which I sincerely doubt), he knows that they are just taking whatever they can get because they see a chance to weaken the USA and strengthen themselves in the process.  This is an unprecedented time in the history of the USA when a POTUS is operating in such a way as to "give away the store" and is winning awards such as the Nobel Peace Prize for doing so. 



Maybe the IOC decided not to consider Chicago for the 2016 Olympics because they think that Rio will have a better security situation than Chicago by then, which would say a lot

Right now The American left is ripping the heart out of the USA.  Once that is done, the bleeding will be profuse and severe.  Unless God favors us with His mercy and a series of miracles occur, I fear that the bleeding will be fatal as well.

Health Reform: A Fiscal Fantasy Land

"President Barack Obama claims we cannot reduce the long-term deficit without health reform. The Congressional Budget Office's estimate of the Senate Finance bill championed by Max Baucus lends some credence to this theory. The CBO estimates that the bill will reduce the deficit by $81 billion over the next decade, and even more beyond that. But that's assuming Congress will make good on its threat to cut Medicare by hundreds of billions of dollars.




Even the CBO does not believe that.


A careful reading of the evidence suggests that the Baucus bill will add as much as $376 billion to the federal deficit through 2019. And that figure understates the full impact of the bill on the budget. If the big-spending parts of the proposal started next year rather than in 2014, the fiscal damage would be much greater."


"The most blatant example is the annual cut in fees paid by Medicare to physicians. The cuts started out small, about 5% a year, but even that was unsustainable. To "solve" the political problem without having to admit to a big increase in the deficit, Congress has given doctors a series of one-year fixes. The foregone payment reductions add up, and next year Medicare is supposed to slash doctor's fees 21%.




Clearly, that will not happen. At the urging of the American Medical Association, Democrats in the House decided to end the charade by permanently granting fee increases to physicians at a 10-year cost of nearly $230 billion. Sen. Baucus accepted responsibility only for the usual one-year fix, at a cost of almost $11 billion. That means he is being credited with $218 billion in savings at which future Congresses will chip away, a year at a time."

Of course, a tax on soft drinks would help make up for the budget deficit.  Once they get rid of the 2nd Ammendment these guys will have to put down their weapons and give up the taxes:

If the Senate Majority Leader is willing to acknowledge that this Government Takeover Of Healthcare will  cost Two Trillion Dollars, then how much will the actual total cost be?  (Hint: It won't be less than the estimate!)

Obama Administration Allows Russian Inspections of Nuclear Sites

Russia and the United States have tentatively agreed to a weapons inspection program that would allow Russians to visit nuclear sites in America to count missiles and warheads.


The plan, which Fox News has learned was agreed to in principle during negotiations, would constitute the most intrusive weapons inspection program the U.S. has ever accepted.



Meanwhile, as part of this new plan, the Cash For Clunkers program has been expanded to employ floating automobile showrooms.  Under the new program announced by the Obama Administration, US aircraft carriers will double as floating automobile dealers, making sales calls at Chinese ports.  "It's where the cash is is" stated Press Secretary Robert Gibbs.

When asked how the Administration had developed this new plan, Secretary Gibbs indicated that the idea had been presented at an earlier high-level meeting held at The White House. (Proverbs Chapter 31 verses 4 and 5)

26-year-old Washington Redskins Cheerleader disabled by flu shot reaction



The conventional wisdom says that this is a "rare" reaction. 

I have no desire to induce panic, and that is not why I posted this. 

When there was a shortage in production of flu vaccine a few years ago, it was President Bush's fault, at least according to the Old Media.  If something like this had happened while Bush was POTUS, it would have been all over the Old Media, all across the USA.  However, I'd wager a dime to a donut that this is the first place you've heard this story. 

If something like this becomes a more commonplace reaction, it is not hard to imagine Rahm classifying it as a crisis that cannot be wasted.  A crisis that demands the central government provide health care for everyone.  Maybe in addition to that, some emergency measures to prevent the spread of a mutated form of the disease.  I sincerely hope I'm incorrect in that.

I wish this young lady a complete recovery, and I wish her loved ones the best as well.

Another effecive way to protest the media's propaganda is to cease to consume it.  As an example of how to do this, our home has no broadcast TV or Cable TV coming into it. 

Until and unless the central government of the USA takes away 1st Ammendment Free Speech rights completely (which they would have already done if they had their wish), I'll use the New Media, thank you very much. 

So what do we do now that we have not already done?

As for me, I'm going to continue to pray for the USA and for all of our leaders. 

Ben Franklin's speech at the Constitutional convention, when the issue of states representation was getting in the way of progress, called for prayer.  While he was met with resistance and sarcasm from some, and the account of this was revised in later years, the fact remains documented that this was a simple request that the men present humble themselves before God and ask for His help.

You can choose what you want to do, but as for me, I'm praying.

Leverages Health Savings Accounts (HSAs). HSAs empower individuals to monitor their health care costs and create incentives for individuals to use only those services that are necessary

Allows interstate purchasing of insurance. Policies in some states are more affordable because they include fewer bells and whistles, and consumers should be empowered to decide which benefits they need and what prices they are willing to pay

Reduces the number of mandated benefits insurers are required to cover. Empowering consumers to choose which benefits they need is only effective if insurers are able to fill these needs

Reallocates the majority of Medicaid spending into simple vouchers for low-income individuals to purchase their own insurance. An income-based sliding scale voucher program would eliminate much of the massive bureaucracy that is needed to implement today's complex and burdensome Medicaid system and produce considerable cost savings

Eliminates unnecessary scope-of-practice laws and allows non-physician health care professionals practice to the extent of their education and training. Retail clinics have shown that increasing the provider pool safely increases competition and access to care and empowers the patient to decide from whom they receive their care

Reforms tort liability laws. Defensive medicine needlessly drives up medical costs and creates an adversarial relationship between doctors and patients

All of these are simple and straightforward, and more difficult for a corrupt central government to manipulate.  With these reforms in place, there would be no need for The Government Takeover Of Healthcare, which is why our central government remains opposed to We The People on this issue.

I got a kick at his preacheresque delivery with the fake ghetto flow to his voice....or maybe the TOTUS voice is fake?  (At least one of the voices has to be fake, no?)

Walter Williams: Constitutional Responsibility goes along with Constitutional Rights.

"In a free society, we want the great majority, if not all, of our relationships to be voluntary. I like to explain a voluntary exchange as a kind of non-amorous seduction. Both parties to the exchange feel good in an economic sense. Economists call this a positive sum gain. For example, if I offer my local grocer three dollars for a gallon of milk, implicit in the offer is that we will both be winners. The grocer is better off because he values the three dollars more than the milk, and I am better off because I value the milk more than the three dollars. That is a positive sum gain. Involuntary exchange, by contrast, means that one party gains and the other loses. If I use a gun to steal a gallon of milk, I win and the grocer loses. Economists call this a zero sum gain. And we are like that grocer in most of what Congress does these days."
