As Stephen Baldwin spoke to the crowd, at one point a chant of "USA, USA" broke out.
Maybe my sense of humor is a little different than most, but I got a laugh out of this sign. At this point in time the crowd circulating on the walkway was getting heavier, and my wife had headed up toward the Capitol Visitor Center on the East Side of the Capitol Building for the restroom facilities.

At this point, another former Marine came by. I mentioned to him that a friend of mine who is a former Marine wanted to be there but could not. He said to tell my friend "Semper Fi". I thanked him for his service.
I had seen this sign in the distance, and I zoomed in on it and got a fairly clear picture. The makers of this "game" clearly put a lot of work into it. If you enlarge the photo you can see the "properties" on the Obamanopoly board; not quite the same as in the Parker Brother's game but entertaining nonetheless.
Shortly after taking the picture above, I engaged in conversation with a couple who had seated themselves near us. The husband was a retired orthopedic physician who had practiced in Massachusetts. It was interesting to get a brief perspective from him in regard to the State-Mandated Health care system in that state. He was also well-informed about conservative politics on a national level, and I shared my limited insight into the recent gubernatorial candidacy of J. Kenneth Blackwell in Ohio when the doctor questioned me about that. I feel that Blackwell's campaign director, Carlo Loparo, ran a weak campaign for Mr. Blackwell. Mr. Blackwell is a Reagan Conservative who would have been a serious threat to The Left had he become Governor of Ohio. Mr. Blackwell has a Facebook page and also does some writing for Townhall on the World Wide Web.
Now we are on the move, going on our way to the south in order to reach the east side of the Capitol. Here we are in front of one of the sets of steps leading up from the Reflecting Pool.
Here is the U.S. Grant Memorial with the Capitol Dome visible to the right of the base of the statue.
The Cavalry is coming!
Another set of steps as we pass to the south in front of the Capitol.
This guy is from Alabama. Roll Tide!
Now we have changed direction, starting to move to the east around to south perimeter of the rally. We are on the walkway that skirts the West Lawn of the Capitol, looking in toward where the rally is taking place. It is solid people from the walkway on in.
Here we turn the corner across from US Botanic Gardens and are across the street from the Rayburn Office Building.
Here is a short video of roughly the same portion of the walk around the Capitol.
I told these folks that the child has a bright future.
This is looking back across the rally from the south. I just held the camera up as high as I could to get the photo.
Here we were about halfway up toward the Capitol. On the perimeter of the grass was some temporary fencing. This is the only place inside the fence on the south side of the rally where the grass was not covered with people. The photo was taken about 2 pm on 9/12.
This video was taken at about the same point in this walk. There was a gentleman giving out some "Don't Tread On Me Stickers" while the Ray Charles version of America The Beautiful plays in the background.
Looking down toward the rally from the southeast corner of the Capitol's West Lawn. Ironic sign on the right border of the photo. If you're a lefty, you're head is about to explode as you look at it....
Heading into the grove of trees at the upper southeast edge of the Capitol Lawn on the walkway.
Upon reaching the east side of the Capitol Building, we found that there were very few people. The rally was still going on and most of the crowd was over there, on the west side of the building.
Down in front of the entrance to the Capitol Visitor Center, this lone patriot stood with his flag. He was likely waiting for some friends who had gone inside the Visitor Cnter as there were several signs lying next to him, more than he alone could carry. He held The Colors aloft in an honorable fashion. His shirt celebrates the 2nd Ammendment. (click photo to enlarge)
The Supreme Court building in the background, looking up from the entrance area of the Capitol Visitor Center.
The Capitol Dome looking up from the north stairway of the Capitol Visitor Center.
As we proceeeded back around the Capitol, this time on the north walkway going toward the west, we came upon this young man astride his father's shoulders as we entered the area of the rally's northern perimeter. I think the message is ironic, but The Speaker Of The House Of Representatives would consider it to be racist.
On this extreme northern edge of the Capitol Lawn there is some grass visible inside the temporary fence, but otherwise it is solid people from here to the walkway on the southern edge.
I think that is an Ohio Flag on the left side of the photo.
Ignoring The Constitution Won't Make It Go Away. Subverting it and enslaving the citizenry may work; I pray to God that it does not.
This is the view of the rally from the northern part of the perimeter looking southward. (click photo to enlarge)
Cool shirt.
Back across 1st Street we went. These cops didn't look too busy. I guess it would be that way when the crowd is in favor of the rule of law established by The Constitution.
Here we've come completely around to near our starting point. The crowd is still covering the entire West Lawn of The Capitol, the west side of the Reflecting Pool, and the National Mall up to 3rd Street.
This is a staged photo using one of the preprinted "Bury Obamacare With Kennedy" signs, which were provided by someone other than the organizers and partners of the 9/12 March. The only other place I saw one of these signs was VERY BRIEFLY on TV, on a live stand-up done on CNN which is posted in PART SIX of this series, and when a man was handing these out to folks as they came out of the Metro station as I noted in PART ONE of this series. If you look at my photos you will not find any of these signs anywhere among the actual marchers or at the rally.
What is curiously funny about this is that Maxine Waters mentions these exact signs when calling for an investigation of the 9/12 Patriots. Were they a plant by The Left? I can't say, but here are Maxine Waters' words in regard to what should be done with the 9/12 Patriots, in which she mentions the exact verbiage of these signs:
Here we are back on 3rd Street with the Capitol in the distance. There is a solid mass of people from this point eastward to The Capitol. This is at about 3 pm.
Another view from just slightly farther south on 3rd Street.
The intersection of 3rd and Madison. You can see many buses in the distance, and the western perimeter of the mass of marchers. Lots of marchers came in by bus, a great many stayed in the downtown area and walked or took cabs to the march, and some rode the Metro into downtown. According to the Metro System count, the ridership was over 100,000 more than normal, and that does not account for the marchers who came in by means other than the Metro system.
This photo is taken from the middle of the National Mall where 3rd Street bisects the Mall itself. The edge of the mass of people extends to here from the Capitol in the distance.
Marchers in front of the CNN Express bus on 3rd Street.
This is almost directly in line with The Capitol from 3rd Street.
This is Part Five of Six Parts of this report. At this point it is about 3:15 pm and the rally is to end at 4 pm. I have about 30 more photos and two more videos left from 9/12. Part Six will be the last in this series.
END PART FIVE...
Go To PART SIX
